Once you log in, go to the main page of the course list – "My course List" and click the title of the course that you have just created (See section 4).

Hide/unhide tools

The main page of a course includes all the course component tools that are available to as teacher. Some of these tools are visible and some are not. If you wish to add a tool in your course which is not visible, click on the eye icon next to the tool you want. If you wish to hide a tool click on the eye icon next to the tool you wish to hide.

ATTENTION

If you see the course from a student's point of view (i.e. you see course home page but are not offered to hide or show its content), then the login you entered is not a valid teacher login. A solution to this may be to self-register once again and inform your system administrator that your old login can be deleted.

View page as student/teacher

It may be convenient to view your work, from a student point of view.
In the top right corner it is possible to switch very easily between a teacher and a student profile.

  • If you are a teacher, you can change to a student profile by clicking on the "Student view".
  • To return to the teacher view click on "Teacher view".

At the top of the screen is the introduction text for the course.

  • Click on "Modify" to alter the text that is displayed Edit/Add text, then click "Ok" to update the introduction text
N.B. It is possible to add styles, e.g. <b>This is bold</b> or any HTML tags.
  • Links beginning with "http://" and email addresses containing the "@" are automatically clickable.
  • Click on "Delete" to remove the introductory text for the course.
