The teacher is created by the e-gnosis system administrator. The administrator provides him with login information: a username and a password. Self registering as a teacher is often disabled.

If the profile of a person is changed from user to teacher in the general list of users (without selecting a course) and this teacher is then added to a course, then he is added as a student in that course. After being added his profile must then be modified to teacher.

A teacher can create a new course without being added to a specific course beforehand. He will then only have access to his self-created course.

For adding a new teacher to a course you have to select a course before changing the profile to teacher (in principle correct, as you only see the persons inscribed on the course).
