Τhe "Users" tool allows you to see who is registered on your course. Additionally, with the Users tool you can:

  • register a user to your course
  • unregister a user from your course
  • export the list of the users as CSV and/or XLS file
  • manage groups of users
  • edit and unregister users' information
  • see the statistics for each user (tracking)

This is the section where you can control who is registered on your course

To add a user

  • Click "Subscribe users to this course".
  • Select the users by clicking their corresponding checkboxes from the left side of the screen .
  • Select "Register" from the pull down menu.
  • Validate.

To delete a user, click on "Unregister" and then on "OK". The user will remain in the system's database, but he/she will not be associated with your course anymore. To add an accidentally deleted user, contact your administrator.

You can also delete a user by just clicking on the icon.

To export the users' list as CSV and/or XLS file, click on the link "Export as CSV-file" or on the link "Export as XLS-file".

To manage a group of users, click on the link "Group Management" (See the chapter related to Groups).

Description of user

The description of the user has no computer relevant function. It does not give any rights on the system. It just indicates the nature of the user. You can modify it by clicking on the , then typing whatever you want: professor, assistant, student, visitor, expert...At the end, click on the "OK" button.
