The e-gnosis online conference tool allows you to teach, inform or gather together up to 500 people in a simple and quick way.

  • live audio : the teacher's voice is broadcasted live to participants,

  • slides : the participants follow the Power Point or PDF presentation,
  • interaction : the participants ask questions through a chat service.

To make an online conference you need to ask the administrator to add a few elements to handle the audio or video distribution (streaming). It is also important to discuss other technical issues with the administrator before considering to make a conference (file format, video equipment, microphone…).

How to give a conference

Create an e-gnosis course > Enter it > Then enter Conference tool > Edit the settings (pencil icon on top left) > upload your slides (PDF, Power Point or whatever) > type an introduction text > type the URL of your live streaming according to the information you received from your technical administrator.

Don't forget to give a clear meeting date, time and other guidelines to your participants beforehand.

Tip: 10 minutes before conference time, type a short message in the chat to inform participants that you are here and to help people who might have audio trouble.
