The "agenda" tool appears on every course page. It also appears as a complementary tool set on the top part of the menu bar.
In the course, the agenda appears as a list of events. You can attach documents or activities to a date so that the agenda becomes a chronological programme for your teaching activities.
If you wish to view the agenda, the new additions will appear to the user the next time he logs in (See section 30 for more information).
To add an agenda item
- Click on the link "Add an agenda item".
- Click on the link "Add introduction text".
- Type the text for the introduction and click "OK".
- Click on the link "Select group/users" if you want your announcement to appear to selected users.
- Enter the date you want.
- Enter a duration for the agenda item (optional).
- Enter the content in the text editor area.
- Attach a document (optional).
- Click "OK" when finished.
The new item will appear in the list of agenda items.
To modify an agenda item
- Click on the "Modify" icon in the agenda.
- Amend the details displayed as required.
- Click on "OK" to accept changes.
To delete an agenda item
- Click on the "Delete" icon in the agenda item so that it is removed.
You will be asked for confirmation.
To modify the order of an agenda item
- Click on the link "Sort agenda chronologically".
To show all agenda items
All agenda entries can be shown for any month (past and future).
- Click on the link for "Show all".
